Alternative Version

Graham Little is a Cheshire Phoenix fan, Kilmarnock FC supporter, and distant armchair follower of the Washington Commanders. He is striving to dunk a basketball on a Wednesday night in his Harden Futurenatural Vol. 6s, but is currently in semi-retirement working on his torn shoulder tendon,

A father, husband, son, brother, cousin, nephew, and proud Scotsman, Graham is based just over the border in Wales. He sometimes misses the hustle and bustle of big city life, having lived in Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bradford, Bangkok and Cher

Graham successfully cooks (and eats) Thai, Indian, and Japanese cuisine. He would find it impossible to pick between a Khao Soi Gai, Dal Makhani, and a Pork Cutlet Katsu Curry as his last meal. A plate of his grannie's stovies would also go down a treat! He prefers a Caffe Nero Americano to a Starbucks one.

If you have a moment, Graham would love to stop and chat about his 2005 Audi TT Quattro Sport with Recaro Pole Position seats or the time he once climbed, staggered up, Mount Fuji to watch the sunrise and missed it.

Currently the Personal Performance Coach for Cheshire Phoenix providing volunteer support to professional basketball players to boost confidence, build resilience and strengthen team and personal relationships. Also providing volunteer Business Mentoring through the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland and for the government-backed Help to Grow programme through Enterprise Nation.

Journey to Coaching

Are you like me?

At the start of my working life, I had a mentor, a PwC ICAS-qualified senior partner. I was completely unaware of what he was doing for me and the benefits that it would create in later life.

Early in my ambitious corporate career at a condom manufacturer run now by Reckitts, I laughed at the suggestion of having a coach. I am a senior manager at the top of my game, why would I need a coach? I can do everything by myself.

Later in my professional IT career, I had a mentor, the European CFO of a Chemical Distribution company, Univar Solutions. I did not want one. I challenged how they could assist me and actively disengaged from the process.

At the end of my corporate career, I engaged an executive coach for one of my directors, I was mentoring plc directors and coaching members of my senior IT leadership team. I was just not aware of what I was doing and how I was doing it.

Something changed. I trained as a professional coach.

I have experienced coaching for my personal life, improving my sleep and gaining confidence and for my business life improving my marketing and encouraging me to network.

I have a passion for something I disregarded for too long. I coach business owners, high performance, leaders in business and professional basketball players
